Assess the sofa from every side
A front-view photograph does not show the rear appearance. Request a back-view image or inspect the model in person if available. Allow for everyday movement on the floor plan and check that the route behind the sofa does not obstruct wardrobe or balcony access.
A practical check before choosing
- Confirm whether the rear is upholstered in your selected fabric.
- Mark the sofa’s outline both closed and open.
- If a lamp will be nearby, route its cable so it does not cross the walkway.
